Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Ince has tipped Gareth Southgate to leave England after Euro 2024 and return to club football in the near future.
Southgate, who retired from professional football in 2006 having made more than 500 league appearances, started his senior management career at Middlesbrough.
He spent over three years in charge of the Teesside club before being controversially dismissed with Boro fourth in the Championship.
After a long period out of the game, Southgate returned to management having signed a three-year deal to succeed Stuart Pearce as boss of the England Under 21s team.
