Former Family Fortunes presenter Vernon Kay, 47, has shared whether he'd return to the hit ITV show and what he said to new host Gino D'Acampo.
Vernon had a long stint on the show, after first starting his hosting duties in 2006. And despite his popularity as the host, the star told OK!
he has no plans to return to the show. "For the foreseeable future Gino is doing a great job," Vernon shared, adding: "With those big entertainment shows it's like a baton – before me there was Bob Monkhouse, Les Dennis, Andy Collins, then me and now Gino." "I phoned him up when he got the gig and I told him it was a great format and gave him some advice as I passed on the baton," Vernon told us.The show sees families going head-to-head through a series of questions to guess the most popular answers that have been given.
Vernon, who is married to Tess Daly, said he would however return if they asked him to host a celebrity Christmas special. Vernon's chat with OK!
