UPDATED, 10:07 AM: Ryan Koss pleaded not guilty Monday in connection with the collision that led to the death of Treat Williams.
Koss, 35, was turning his Honda SUV left into a parking lot when he hit Williams on his motorcycle. Williams, 71, of Manchester Center, was pronounced dead at Albany Medical Center in New York.
Koss could be sentenced to up to 15 years in prison if he’s convicted of gross negligent operation that resulted in a death, according to AP.
Koss is the managing creative director of the Dorset Theatre Festival in Vermont and has reportedly said he knew Williams for years and considered him a friend.
