Carroll is an esteemed journalist whose popular “Ask E. Jean” column, published from 1993 to 2019, was one of the longest-running columns ever.
Over her career, Carroll has been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for her work with “Saturday Night Live” from 1986-87 and “America’s Talking,” the precursor to MSNBC.
Variety and Rolling Stone are proud to recognize her honesty and bravery over this past year fighting for truth and justice in her cases against Donald Trump.
