Vanderpump Rules star arrested after allegedly trying to board flight to Europe with suitcases filled with cannabis

Ariana Madix’s younger brother, Jeremy Madix, has been arrested according to reports obtained by The Mirror US and TMZ. Jeremy, who has appeared in Vanderpump Rules along with his sister, Ariana several times, was arrested in Florida on Tuesday 13 August.

Jeremy was charged with felony cannabis trafficking. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the charges stem from an incident in February 2024, in which Jeremy and another man, Jonah Ahad, were picked up by police after customs officers discovered three suitcases allegedly belonging to them that contained more than 100 pounds of marijuana.The pair were scheduled to fly from Orlando to Frankfurt, Germany, at the time of the incident but were apprehended by security.

Jonah's bag allegedly contained 31 bags of weed weighing 37 pounds According to the documents "the two suitcases in Madix's possession had his name on the luggage tags and the suitcase in Ahad's possession had his name on the luggage tag." Authorities claim they tried to speak with Jeremy and Jonah at the time, but neither would talk without their attorneys present.The incident did not seem to lead to an immediate arrest, but they were later cuffed following some arrest warrants with charges on felony cannabis trafficking.
