EXCLUSIVE: UTA and Anonymous Content have signed filmmaker Francis Galluppi for representation in all areas, ahead of the world premiere of his debut feature, The Last Stop in Yuma County, at Fantastic Fest.
The crime thriller tells the story of an unassuming knife salesman (Jim Cummings) who unexpectedly finds himself trapped in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with two bank robbers at a remote rest stop.
Jocelin Donahue, Richard Brake, Nicholas Logan, Faizon Love and more co-star in the pic, which is set to make its international premiere at Sitges Film Festival next month.
UTA Independent Film Group is co-repping sales for the title alongside XYZ Films. Based out of Los Angeles and renowned for his do-it-yourself approach, Galluppi regularly takes on multiple roles in his filmmaking process, serving as the writer, director, producer, editor, and occasionally the composer for all his projects.
