He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.

USA Gymnastics is appealing the decision to strip Jordan Chiles of her bronze medal. The organization issued a statement Sunday (August 11) after news broke that the 23-year-old gymnast would need to surrender the medal to Romanian Olympian Ana Barbosu because of a ruling made by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

USA Gymnastics says they have video evidence, complete with time stamps, indicating her coach made the inquiry into her judging at 47 seconds, and again at 55 seconds, both under the 1-minute time limit. Keep reading to find out more… “USA Gymnastics on Sunday formally submitted a letter and video evidence to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, conclusively establishing that Head Coach Cecile Landi‘s request to file an inquiry was submitted 47 seconds after the publishing of the score, within the 1-minute deadline required by FIG rule,” they said in the statement. “In the letter, USA Gymnastics requests that the CAS ruling be revised and Chiles‘ bronze-medal score of 13.766 reinstated.
