Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Consumer champion Which? warned that scam adverts are claiming motorists are owed compensation through mis-sold car finance.
The advert generally claims that those who purchased a car between 2020 and 2021 may be eligible for a huge payout. However, the real reason behind the adverts is far more sinister.
For the scammers are hoping to steal your personal information so they can continue a campaign of scams in the future. If a vulnerable social media user clicks on these adverts and provides their email address and phone number, they are often told someone will contact them in 24 hours to go over their supposed claim.
