Police have issued an urgent appeal for witnesses after a child was left injured by flares set off by protestors at a Bury AFC cup match last week.
The youngster and a footballer sustained minor injuries after the flares were set off into Bury AFC's ground during an FA Cup qualifier on September 3.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police are now continuing to appeal for witnesses following the Bury AFC v North Shields football match.
At around 1pm, police received reports that a group of male protestors outside had been hurling flares towards the inside of the stadium.
