Urgent appeal issued to find missing man who may be driving Ford Transit van

Officers have issued an urgent appeal to find a missing Wigan man who may be driving a van. Police say Ian was last seen on Broadriding Road, in Wigan, at around 3.30am today (December 13).

The 58-year-old's surname has not been given by Greater Manchester Police. Ian is described as being white, around 5ft 11ins tall and with grey/blond hair.

He was last seen wearing a dark coloured RAB puffer jacket, dark jeans and light coloured trainers. Ian was also wearing a dark beanie hat. He is also known to have links to Formby, on the Merseyside coast. Anyone who sees Ian or has information on his whereabouts is urged to come forward as soon as possible.
