Up to £600 to be paid by DWP to bank account in homes with one person born after specific date

If there's at least one person aged between 66 and 79 in your household you'll likely receive £500 to help with your fuel bills this winter.

Pensions Minister Laura Trott also said households with someone aged 80 and over will receive £600, BirminghamLive reports. Most people get the Winter Fuel Payment automatically if they’re eligible. If you’re eligible, you’ll get a letter in October or November saying how much you’ll get." You’ll get either £500 if you were born between 25 September 1943 and 24 September 1957 or £600 if you were born before 25 September 1943.
