There are some new updates coming to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Orlando!

This weekend will mark more magical opportunities at the themed-land, including new interactive wands, a personalized experience in the Universal Orlando Resort app and new locations to cast spells at Islands of Adventure, Universal Orlando and at the upcoming The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic at Epic Universe. Keep reading to find out more… The second generation interaction wands will come in four designs, which you can see here in the gallery, and they’ll give guests an enhanced experience with new features like illumination effects and haptic vibrations!

Each wand will come in an exclusive package with wand burst icon, and will include a spell map and info on how to take your wand experience to the next level.

With Universal Play, guests can connect their wands in the app and personalize your wizarding story, explore exclusive adventures and even earn points for your Hogwarts house.
