The Government has announced some new, major changes to the benefits system and also admitted they're going to affect millions of people.

Bosses at the Department for Work and Pensions also acknowledged that it will leave hundreds of thousands of people worse off.

A report by the DWP has revealed it's planning to resume the mass migration of more than 2 million people to Universal Credit from their existing benefits system says Birmingham Live.

The move will mean those who are on things like child tax credit, housing benefit, income support and working tax credit will start to be moved over to the new system starting this month.
