In a new interview with Access, the Kill Bill star shared that she initially had reservations about the 23-year-old actress following in her and father Ethan Hawke‘s footsteps. You just wish they’d find any other way to be creative.” But after watching Maya perform, she realized it was what her daughter was supposed to do. “She’s, in the end, such a brilliant actress.
Obviously, there’s nothing else that she would have ever done,” Uma explained, adding, “Her talent was so big.
