The last day of July will be a scorcher with hot and sunny weather promising to give a blast of summer heat before things cool down in August.
The temperature is set to rise to 30C on Friday making the UK hotter than Spain and finishing off a week that has started damp and breezy.
According to the Met Office the end of week will see the country basking in a 'very warm spell' with lots of sunshine and summer heat in the south east of England.
A spokesman told Mirror Online: "There will be an area of low pressure into the Atlantic that will bring the warm air over - but it will only be for a day. "A cold front will sneak across on Saturday bringing temperatures down to 22C in Plymouth but expected to be a bit higher in the south east London
