Britons are bound for a more settled weather during Christmas this year, while snow in some northern parts of the country "isn't out of the question", the Met Office has said.
While there are still almost two weeks to go before Christmas, a general outlook on what the UK will look like on the holiday shows signs of brighter days.
Meteorologist Alex Burkell told the Mirror that the run up to Christmas will be "nothing especially stormy" although there will be some spells of rain and winds.
