The UK is currently the grip of heavy snow showers as the 'Beast from the East 2' causes chaos across the country. A severe snow warning is in place for the entire east coast of Britain until midnight tomorrow.
Almost six inches of the white stuff is possible in some parts of the country. Met Office forecaster Simon Partridge told The Mirror: "In the early hours of Thursday morning we could get close to -20C somewhere in the Highlands. "A lot of cold air has been brought in by these easterly winds.
