Arctic weather conditions are set to batter the UK again with warnings now in place for swathes of the country for snow and ice.
Temperatures will to plunge and forecasters have warned of travel chaos, power cuts and 'widespread ice' as well as injuries from slips and falls.
Up to 40cm of snow could fall in the coming days in some parts of the country and 'freezing rain' is set to hit east Wales and the north Midlands.
The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for snow and ice for the next three days, with up to seven inches of the white stuff possible between tomorrow and Tuesday.
