red, green and amber lists could be completely overhauled with dozens of countries expected to be shuffled around in the latest review.It comes as the UK Government plan to simplify travel restrictions amid speculation the traffic light system could be scrapped from October 1.The Scottish Government can set its own rules but have followed the UK in almost every other travel announcement.Green and amber lists are expected to be merged to form one category of low-risk countries while the number of destinations on the red list will be reduced.There is also speculation that fully-vaccinated arrivals will no longer need to take a pre-departure lateral flow test or a post-arrival PCR test.
