Film production company Warner Bros would like to produce a ‘first of its kind’ major feature movie in Glasgow. Planning papers from Glasgow City Council note that council leader Susan Aitken hopes to incentivise the production.
It intends to bring millions of pounds to the city following a £150,000 investment backed by councillors, according to Glasgow Live.
The report reads: "The opportunity presented in this paper offers Glasgow the chance to take this ambition to the next level, further strengthening the global reputation the city is building as a location and centre of excellence in film and TV production."A funding application has been received by the global filming production company, Warner Bros.
