Asda managed to scoop two titles at an award ceremony held by retail industry magazine, The Grocer. It was crowned Online Supermarket of the Year and the UK’s Lowest Priced Supermarket The supermarket picked up the awards at the annual Grocer Gold Awards ceremony.

This marks the second occasion the retailer has claimed the title of Online Supermarket of the Year, and the 24th time it has won the prize for Lowest Priced Supermarket.

The big four grocer beat competition to both accolades for its dedication to helping customers save money and shop the products they love
