Realising you've left something in the back of a taxi can be very frustrating, especially when it's something like a phone or wallet.
The mishap is actually pretty common - so much so, Uber has revealed what items frequently get left behind. The global transport provider has released its annual list of things forgotten by passengers and it includes some questionable items such as pet hamsters, two fingernails and a fire sword. Unsurprisingly, the most commonly reported items are things like clothing, phones, bags, wallets and headphones. After examining trends, Uber noted that April 5, 2022 was the most common day of the year for forgotten items, with nearly 1,000 lost item reports.
They also said some passengers have accidentally forgotten their pets in their Uber which included dogs, turtles, hamsters, and even a rat.
