UB40's Brian Travers has told that he faces brain surgery - for the second time in two years. The legendary saxophonist, 61, revealed he'd had a seizure before Christmas and was rushed to Birmingham's QE Hospital, where he was told he needed an operation to remove a tumour at the back on his head.
Brian was taken ill weeks after turning 60 in March 2019, suffering a seizure and taken into surgery to remove a double tumour.
Now Brian has updated fans on his condition and told that he's being examined by a doctor for a second procedure. "I've been in lockdown since I was first taken ill but I have no fears about a second operation," he said. "After the first operation I was given a cup of tea and then told I was OK to go home."
