Peaky Blinders will end after series six but will ‘continue in another form’

There is bad news for Peaky Blinders fans this week as it was announced the show will wrap for good after season six. The phenomenally popular series follows the antics of the Shelby clan, the original British gangsters as they wreak havoc on the streets of Birmingham while raking in the profits.

Over the past eight years, Peaky Blinders has become one of the hottest shows around, thanks largely to our own Cillian Murphy, and even spawned a fashion for flat caps.

So no doubt fans will be torn up at the news that there is only one more series in the offing. The BBC announced the news this week as the show resumed filming for the first time in a year and comes as a bolt out of the blue as the Peaky Blinder’s creator Stephen Knight previously
