Tyson Fury will fight against Francis Ngannou in a crossover boxing contest in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night as the worlds of boxing and UFC collide.
The event sees former UFC heavyweight champion Ngannou facing Fury, who is the reigning WBC world title holder. Interest in the event has heightened since the announcement that the contest will be followed by a unification world championship bout between Fury and WBA, WBO and IBF world champion Oleksandr Usyk, which could take place in December.
Also fighting on the card, Fabio Wardley takes on David Adeleye in defence of his British heavyweight title. Meanwhile, Fury’s long-time training partner and former world heavyweight champion Joseph Parker will face Simon Kean. There will also be an appearance from Moses Itauma, with the highly promising 18-year-old facing a heavyweight contest against Istvan Bernath on an undercard which also includes Martin Bakole vs Carlos Takam and Arslanbek Makhmudov v Junior Anthony Wright.
