Head of Wasserman Boxing Kalle Sauerland has warned that the proposed fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will only be confirmed once both fighters are in the ring and the first bell goes.

The German promoter is in the UK promoting Lyndon Arthur's return to action against Walter Gabriel Sequeira this weekend at the University of Bolton Stadium.

However, he will have been aware of the goings on between Fury and Joshua as their well-publicised negotiations continue. As it currently stands, Frank Warren has confirmed that negotiations are '90% done' but has urged those with an interest to be cautious as a fight can never be guaranteed to be taking place with all of the moving parts involved in such negotiations. He said that despite his lack of involvement in negotiations that any fight can fall through and that fans should wait until the December 3rd proposed date to see if it will actually happen.
