Keith Nale, a two-time Survivor contestant, has died at age 62, his family has confirmed. Wes Nale, his son, confirmed his father died Tuesday afternoon. “He’d been battling cancer for the past few months and we found out about it in January,” he told ET. Before the show, when asked what it meant to play Survivor with each other, Keith told CBS, “We are both very competitive with others and with each other.
I am looking forward to sharing and living out this experience with my son. Can’t wait to show him the old man still has it!!” Wes said, “Getting to play with my loved one is going to be awesome.
I’m sure my dad will impress me with everything he does and how he will play his social game. It will be more fun playing the game of Survivor with him because I will have somebody on the island that I could 100% trust when things get tough or when big moves need to be made.” Keith reached the final four of the competition in that season. Keith was also a contestant on Survivor: Cambodia in 2015.
