Two teens charged with murder after man dies following Northern Quarter incident

Two teenagers have been charged with murder after a man died last month following an incident in the city centre. Police rushed to Dale Street, in the Northern Quarter, at approximately 6.30pm on Wednesday (August 16), to find two men with serious injuries.

Sadly, one of the men passed away in hospital from his injuries on October 9. Four men were initially charged with attempted murder and section 18 assault.

However, police have announced the indictment for these four men will be amended to murder and section 18 assault, and they will next appear at court on Monday, December 4. Today (November 22), cops have also announced that a 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with murder.
