A man who was arrested after a stabbing outside a leisure centre in Irlam has been released from custody, police have confirmed.
Officers were called to a reported stabbing in the car park of Irlam and Cadishead Leisure Centre on Liverpool Road at around 6.15am on Saturday morning (December 9).
A male victim was found with a 'superficial' cut to his leg, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Another man was arrested on the scene on suspicion of assault.
