Two teenagers charged in connection with blaze at derelict building in Fife

Two more teenagers have been charged in connection with a blaze at a derelict building on a Fife high street.Six fire engines and a height vehicle were used to tackle the inferno on Leven's High Street in Fife after flames engulfed the building at 10pm on November 25.

Officers investigating the fire - which scorched through the night - earlier announced a 17-year-old man was charged in connection.

Now they have confirmed two further teenagers, a 16-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, have also been arrested and charged.

They will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in due course. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 16-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy have been arrested and charged in connection with a fire at a derelict building in the High Street area of Leven, which took place around 10pm on Friday, November 25.
