The 15-year-old died after police were called to a stabbing in Great Lever in Bolton on Tuesday (4 May). Two boys aged 15 and 14 have since been charged with murder.
Neither of them can be named for legal reasons. Appearing video link at Manchester Crown Square Crown Court today, both boys spoke only to confirm their names.
No pleas were entered by either of the two defendants. A trial date was fixed for October 18 this year, with a plea trial and preparation hearing expected to be heard on July 30.
