Two people have been taken to hospital after an ambulance was involved in a crash with a car in Bury. The smash happened on Manchester Road, at the junction with Knowsley Street, south of the town centre.
An ambulance and a small white hatchback car collided shortly before 7:45pm. Further paramedic vehicles, police and fire engines all attended the scene.

The North West Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said: "At around 7.40pm, officers responded to reports of a collision between a car and an ambulance on Manchester Road, Bury.
