Police were called at 6.30pm following reports there had been a crash at the junction of Jackson Street and Manor Street in St Helen, near Wigan.

The incident involved a Vauxhall Adam and a Land Rover and Merseyside Police confirmed the occupants of the Vauxhall were not seriously injured, the Liverpool Echo reports.
