Police and paramedics were called to the incident on Heywood Road just before 8pm last night (Sunday). Two men were treated for non life-threatening injuries at the scene, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said.
They were then arrested on suspicion of assault. Pictures taken on Heywood Road last night showed at least three police cars and one ambulance stationed on the road.
