The two men found dead in a burned-out car in Sweden have been confirmed as British men who were on a business trip.Almost a month after the pair were discovered, Swedish prosecutors have confirmed they have identified the remains as belonging to Juan Cifuentes and Farooq Abdulrazak.
After they failed to return home from a business trip to Denmark and Sweden, the pair were reported missing in July. As reported by the Mirror, Juan, 33, and Farooq, 37, from north London, were reported missing by their families.
Fire crews came across a Toyota Rav4 ablaze on a dirt road in an industrial estate in Malmö hours later on Sunday, July 14. The two men were found with gunshot wounds, with fears that they were the London-based travel agents.The pair had rented out the Toyota at Copenhagen's Kastrup airport.
They were later captured on CCTV as they made their way over the Öresund Bridge. At least one of the victims is said to have suffered bullet wounds, with authorities believing they had been killed before the car was set alight.The men are believed to have run a travel company, Empire Holidays.
