Two men accused of robbing and attacking victim in East Kilbride

Two men have appeared at court accused of attacking and robbing an East Kilbride man who has since died. Neil Hanton, 25, of Trinidad Way, East Kilbride, and Anthony Rooney, 20, allegedly assaulted Ewan Meldrum to his severe injury and the danger of his life.Prosecutors say Mr Meldrum was targeted at his home in Hudson Terrace on May 8 last year.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
