Two men in their early 20s were killed after the car they were travelling in plunged from a bridge into a river yesterday evening.
Pictures at the scene in Sheffield show a broken rail, which it is believed the driver smashed through before landing in the River Don.
Police have today confirmed the two men who died were aged just 20 and 24, but their identities have not yet been released. A heavy police presence remains in the area as investigators seek to establish exactly what happened.
