Two Lanarkshire schoolboys rushed to hospital after double stabbing

Two teenage boys have been rushed to hospital following a double 'stabbing' in South Lanarkshire on Friday night. The incident took place at around 9..30pm when officers were alerted to reports of a stabbing on Lickprivick Road, East Kilbride.

A Police Scotland spokesman told Lanarkshire Live: “Officers were called to Lickprivick Road, East Kilbride to reports of a stabbing at around 9.30pm on Friday, 15 April, 2022. “Two teenage boys, aged 15 and 16, were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and officers are following a positive line of enquiry.”**Don't miss the latest headlines from around Lanarkshire.
