Two men have been charged with the murder of Javell Morgan. Police have confirmed that Jacob Doughty, 21. of Ponyfield Close, Huddersfield, and Simeon Baptiste, 24, of Wellfield Bank, Huddersfield, have been remanded in custody and will appear before Manchester & Salford Magistrates court on Monday (22 August).
The two men were arrested in Huddersfield in connection to the murder of Javell, 20, and were held in custody for further enquiries. Officers attended the scene where Javell was found with serious injuries and was taken to hospital. Javell was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.
He died as a result of stab injuries, Greater Manchester Police said. It was originally thought he was shot, police added. Detective Chief Inspector Neil Higginson said tonight: "Our thoughts remain with Javell's family and friends at this heart breaking time.
