Two people have been arrested following a shooting in Manchester. A man in his 20s and a 17-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder today (October 17).
Police were called to Hampden Crescent in the Gorton area at around 5.45pm to reports of a firearms discharge on Monday 7 October.
The victim, a 19-year-old man, was taken to hospital with life changing injuries. An 18-year-old remains on bail pending further enquiries. Senior Investigating Officer Detective Inspector Louise Edwards from the major incident team said: “10 days have now passed since this incident took place and we have been working tirelessly to identify those responsible.
