The first Met Office warning is for thunderstorms, which has been put in place for large parts of the country from midday today to 10pm this evening.It is expected that around 40mm of rain could land in some areas of Scotland in just an hour.Forecasters anticipate around 80mm of rain to generally land during this 10-hour period of adverse weather.Falkirk, Aberdeenshire, Edinburgh, West Lothian, the Highlands and Lanarkshire are just some of the areas to brace themselves for the conditions.
