TV star's Eras tour dreams dashed after falling victim to Taylor Swift ticket scam

As Friday rounded off the working week with another entertaining episode of Gogglebox, our favourite armchair critics were once again on hand to weigh in on the week’s most talked about TV shows, while peppering in anecdotes about their daily lives.Typically on the show, most fans tune in to hear a light-hearted commentary from the families taking part.This week, however, sisters Ellie and Izzi Warner also highlighted a very real issue - as Ellie revealed she had fallen victim to a cruel ticketing scam.

As regular viewers may know, Ellie is a huge Taylor Swift fan and had attempted to purchase tickets for the upcoming UK leg of her critically acclaimed Eras tour.

Yet despite her initial belief that she was getting a good deal, it soon transpired that this 'Swifty' had actually been conned and swindled out of her hard earned cash.

Explaining the situation to her sister Ellie said: “Can you believe I’ve been scammed this week, buying tickets for Taylor Swift? “ Izzi then interjected and said: “The original scam.” Ellie then replied: “Yeah!
