TV news presenter shocks viewers by slamming man to the ground on air

A TV news presenter surprised teatime news viewers by unusually slamming a man to the ground on camera. It took place on Channel 5 news, where journalist Claire Hannah was presenting a segment to camera.The broadcaster, Claire, was delivering a news report in Shipley, in Bradford, where she was covering a church which has welcomed wrestling into its parrish, combining Christianity with wrestling matches hosted in the local church.

It was when the news presenter joined in with the wrestling herself that the news programme really grabbed viewers’ attention, though.

Introducing the segment, Claire said: “Find out how this church is stopping Christianity from going down for the count.” It was then that things took a turn for the bizarre.

Claire then sprung from the turnbuckle of the ring, flinging herself through the air and slamming a wrestler to the ground in the ring under her body.The two lay splayed on the mat for an extended period, as someone off camera could be heard to stifle a giggle.
