Legendary kids TV star Paul Chuckle has spoken of his battle against coronavirus.And in a social media post, the presenter begged fans to stay at home amid the UK-wide lockdown to try and stop the spread of the deadly bug.The icon, real name Paul Elliott, is one half of comedy due The Chuckle Brothers and admitted he'd come down with the symptoms of Covid-19 in an video chat posted followers on Twitter last night.The 72-year-old said: "Just checking in to let you know I'm still around."I have been laid up with Covid-19 for a good few days, just mild, but it was there and it's not nice.""So please, please stay inside."We're all going stir crazy, we know that, but please stay inside."Take the pressure off the NHS, Marie Curie, et cetera.
