While some toss and turn in the bed, others have favored positions and may be wondering if those positions are beneficial. To find out, Furniture Village, one of UK’s biggest furniture retailers set out to reveal the nation's sleeping habits.
They also consulted their their sleep ambassador, former NHS clinician and celebrity dancer on Strictly, Dr Ranjit "Ranj" Singh .
The TV doctor shared his expertise, discussing each sleeping position and both their benefits and drawbacks. They found that out of the three most popular sleeping positions, sleeping on the back is the most searched option online, a record that remained undefeated in the past three years.
