MasterChef's Monica Galetti sent some subtle support to Gregg Wallace as the familiar face of the BBC show decided to take a break amidst some serious allegations.
On November 28, the much-loved cooking show saw a shake-up as the long-time judge, aged 60, stepped away from his 19-year stint on the programme due to claims of "sexualised" behaviour that surfaced during filming. The celeb chef addressed his fans directly through a social media video, sharing that he was moved by the outpouring of support. "I would like to thank all the people getting in touch, reaching out and showing their support. That's good of you, thank you very much." Monica Galetti, who is a recognisable face on MasterChef: The Professionals, showed her backing for Gregg as she gave a 'like' to his Instagram post, despite the ongoing flurry of allegations.
Recently, rock legend Sir Rod Stewart didn't hold back as he labelled Gregg a "bully", accusing him of embarrassing his wife Penny Lancaster during her Celebrity MasterChef stint in 2021, reports the Express.
While Monica and Thomasina Miers, the founder of Wahaca, have interacted with the post, it seems John Torode, Gregg's long-time friend and co-judge, hasn't publicly commented on the situation just yet.
