Thania Garcia Las Vegas police have arrested a man in connection to the fatal drive-by shooting of hip-hop icon Tupac Shakur.
The Metropolitan Police Department served a new search warrant in relation to the 1996 unsolved murder earlier this July, resulting in the launch of an investigation a few miles away from the Las Vegas Strip, where Shakur was killed nearly 30 years ago.
Duane “Keffe D” Davis was arrested early Friday morning, according to the latest report from the Associated Press, although the exact charge (or charges) were not clear.
Davis has been a self-proclaimed witness to the crime, appearing in several interviews and claiming that he knew who killed Shakur, although he has never revealed names.
