Contestants were eliminated from the show by Trump’s signature catchphrase “You’re fired!” The first season of the show reportedly averaged over 20 million weekly viewers on NBC.Trump hosted seven regular “Apprentice” seasons and seven “Celebrity Apprentice” seasons, which were won by Piers Morgan, Joan Rivers, Bret Michaels, John Rich, Arsenio Hall, Trace Adkins and Leeza Gibbons.The 15th season of the show, also a celebrity season, was hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger after Trump left the series when he decided to run for president in 2015.“The Apprentice” was owned by MGM, which was acquired by Prime Video in 2022 for $8.5 billion.
