‘TRON: Ares’ Trailer: Jared Leto Leads Disney’s New Cyberpunk Adventure Zooming To Theaters On October 10
theplaylist.netDisney‘s upcoming legacy sequel “TRON: Ares” has a brand new trailer that dropped over the weekend featuring some footage of the film with one of the Program characters out in the real world and being pursued by police while on a light-cycle. “TRON” is set in a universe, created by ENCOM, where digital people inhabit a space where games to the death are commonplace.
These digital people represent not only programs but, in the case of “Users” like Kevin and Sam Flynn (father and son), are transported there by being shrunk into this digital realm and essentially becoming “Programs” too (“Black Mirror” having used this concept over multiple seasons).
