The blazing sun is a perfect scene setter for the final day of TRNSMT as the crowds gear up for the 1975.Despite the heavy downpours from the night before, picnics on the grass are the order of the day.Crawlers kicked off the main stage with their rocky set including their TikTok hit Come Over.It got the crowd started and set the tone for this evening when Royal Blood also take to the main stage.Jamie Webster’s Glaswegian army turned out in support for him following his gig yesterday, which saw him have to cut short his set after a power cut, and US singer Ashnikko couldn’t wait to become the only American to play the main stage this year and "sweat her t***es off."Her ballsy, don’t-give-a-damn attitude reflected that of other, mostly female, bands on the bill - including Scotland’s Uninvited a queer band who grew over lockdown so much that King Tut's became their first actual gig - and the pvc-wearing Lucia and the Best Boys.Feminism is a strong theme for today as some more of the girls get to do their stuff.Lucia, like many has said she is excited for Becky Hill later on, and she’s not the only one as Becky is a favourite of the TRNSMT crowd, who clamoured for a look and listen to her at the King Tut's tent in the past.Others who are determined to make a big noise today are Bob Vylan 2, with their grunge, hip hop and punk attitude.And it’s nice to see the ice cream vans are getting a turn as revellers finally get their sun cream on for the city’s big summer fest.Matty Healy and his band are this evening’s headliners - with his oft unpredictable onstage antics - it promises to be a spectacle one way or another.
